Joel Arnold concentrates his practice in family law, traditionally a significant focus of the firm's practice.  He is intimately familiar with some of the more challenging aspects of family law, including complex property division, tracing of assets, custody and visitation issues and child and spousal support issues.

Joel has extensive litigation experience. His trials have included issues of custody, parental alienation, visitation and visitation abuse, child and spousal support, collection of past due support, division of property and dissipation of marital property and orders of protection.

Joel is  Past Chairman of the DuPage County Bar Association - Family Committee.  He possesses an L.L.M. degree in Taxation, a highly prized advanced tax degree which enables him to effectively handle complex asset division issues for clients with complicated property settlements and tax issues.  Joel is a former Senior Trial Attorney for Chicago District IRS as well as Past Chairman of the DuPage County Bar Association Tax Committee.  He is also a Certified Mediator.
